Use of Neurocuple(tm) as an Alternative to Opioids for Post-operative Pain Management Following TKA

Dr. Jacques E. Chelly, in collaboration with Dr. Anton Plakseychuk and Dr. Nicholas Schott, published a case report on August 8, 2023, titled:

"Use of Nanotechnology as an Alternative to Opioids for Post-operative Pain Management Following TKA."

The study was conducted by the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, as well as the Department of Orthopedics, both at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.

TKA (Total Knee Arthroplasty) is recognized as a procedure that typically results in moderate-to-severe post-operative pain, often necessitating opioid-based pain management. This case report highlights the utilization of the NeuroCuple™ device, a nanotechnology-based device, as a potential alternative to opioids.
