nCap Medical LLC announced it has accumulated anecdotal evidence that its non-invasive, Neurocuple(tm) technology has mitigated both acute and chronic pain without the need of opioids.
The Company’s teaming partner, the Sidra Academic and Research Hospital, will conduct random, double blind studies. The Academic Teaching Faculty WCMC supports the Institution: Qatar Ministry of Health and its other partner institutions at Education City, Qatar (Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, Weill-Cornell Medicine in Qatar, college of the North Atlantic and HEC, Paris).
Dr. G. Russel Reiss, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgery, formerly at the University of Utah, commented, “If the studies of the nCap nano-technology based material reveal efficaciousness, this could have one of the most significant impacts on the practice of medicine and effectively address the misuse and abuse of opioids.”
Dr. Joseph Shumway, MD,MPH FACOG, Senior Consultant, Hamad Medical Corporation; Senior Attending Physician, Weill Cornell Medical College Academic Faculty, Qatar, will manage the study, and attempt to better understand the mechanism of action of the nCap material together with Dr. Arthur Penn Ramirez a physicist at the University of California, Santa Clara.
Dr. Shumway is a small, minority owner of a membership interest in nCap.

About Our Products
It's simple to use! Just place the patch above your pain - "Between the Pain and the Brain" - and your pain will begin to fade away in minutes. All in a thin, reusable, wearable patch. No batteries, no wires, no smelly oils, no drugs and it's fast acting!!
The patch is constructed with our patented Neurocuple(tm) layer sealed between two waterproof layers. Once placed in the correct location the Neurocuple(tm) layer is activated directly by the energy from the users own body, after a few minutes a hot, cold or tingling sensation is felt by the user as the pain fades.
The PainRelief.io patch is a general wellness product that helps promote physical activity for users with chronic and intermittent pain, which, as part of a healthy lifestyle, may help living with these conditions, and may delay the onset of related disabilities.
